Jim is a freelance photographer who has worked in travel and lifestyle imaging for decades. His many clients include: Walt Disney Family Museum, West Point Military Academy, West Point Museum, The Mirror Lake Inn, The Mohonk Mountain House, Roosevelt Hotel, Graycliff, Waldorf-Astoria, Signature (formerly Meridian), Le Cordon Bleu/London, The Barbados Tourism Authority, and Jamaica Tourist Board.
A graduate of Pratt Institute, Jim has received special recognition for his extraordinary images showcasing hotels, resorts, spas, museums, travel, restaurants, and lifestyles. Jim's images are represented by two stock agencies: Science Source in NYC and Agenzia Fotografica Milano in Milan, Italy. His stock images include Europe, The Caribbean, United States, East Africa, Ireland, and Canada.
His photos have appeared in: The New York Times Destinations Magazine, Traveler and Leisure, Condé Nast Traveler, New York Times Travel Magazine, Time, Newsweek, New York Magazine, Memphis Magazine, Hibernia, The Washington Post, and Vogue.
Jim has also had an extensive career in the world of publishing. His images appear in over 35 cookbooks including a best selling series on professional baking and cooking published by Wiley & Sons. Jim collaborated with the Walt Disney Family Museum and created their signature souvenir book called, Picturing the Walt Disney Family Museum. Jim created a book for the National Civil Rights Museum called Everyday People. Not only does it feature photos of the museum, but a striking portrayal of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.
Jim’s fine artwork has appeared in galleries throughout the Hudson Valley and New York City. He is working on a new book about the Art of Life called Warriors.
Jim’s home and photo studio are located in the scenic Hudson Valley of New York.
