Jim’s Story

Jim is a freelance photographer who has worked in travel and lifestyle imaging for decades. His many clients include: Walt Disney Family Museum, West Point, West Point Museum, The Mirror Lake Inn, The Mohonk Mountain House, Roosevelt Hotel, Graycliff, Waldorf-Astoria, Meridian, Le Cordon Bleu/London, The Barbados Tourism Authority and Jamaica Tourist Board. 

His photos have appeared in: The New York Times Destinations Magazine, Traveler, Traveler and Leisure, New York Times Travel Magazine, Time, Newsweek, New York Magazine, Memphis Magazine, Hibernia, The Washington Post and Vogue.

A graduate of Pratt Institute, Jim has received special recognition for his extraordinary images showcasing hotels, resorts, spas, museums, travel, restaurants, and lifestyles. Jim's images are represented by two stock agencies: Photo Researchers Incorporated in NYC and Agenzia Fotografia in Milan, Italy. His stock images include Europe, The Caribbean, Continental United States, East Africa, All of Ireland and Canada.

Jim collaborated with Walt Disney Family Museum and created their signature souvenir book called, Picturing the Walt Disney Family Museum. It showcases Jim's visual tour of the new Disney museum and the city of San Francisco.

Jim created a book for the National Civil Rights Museum called Everyday People. It features a visual tour of the museum and a striking portrayal of the life of Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr.

Jim’s fine artwork has appeared in galleries throughout the Hudson Valley and New York CityHe is working on a new book about the Art of Life called Warriors.

Jim lives and maintains a photographic studio in the Hudson Valley of New York.
